only JESUS has power

 

Matthew 3:17

17 And lo a voice from heaven, 

saying, 

This is my beloved Son, 

in whom I am well pleased.

In the previous post, we saw GOD's power over angels.

And what ONE angel can do.

In this post, we shall further reinforce JESUS' power over EVERYTHING.

As born again, we rely on Scripture to tell us all we need to know.

Matthew 28:18

18 And Jesus came and spake unto them, 

saying, 

All power is given unto me 

in heaven and in earth.

John 1:3

3 All things were made by him; 

and without him was not any thing made 

that was made.

Colossians 1:16

King James Version

16 For by him were all things created, 

that are in heaven, and that are in earth, 

visible and invisible, 

whether they be thrones, or dominions, 

or principalities, or powers: 

all things were created by him, 

and for him:

JESUS exercised power over devils:

James 2:19

19 Thou believest that there is one God; 

thou doest well: 

the devils also believe, 

and tremble.

Through His Resurrection, JESUS defeated death, and the devil:

Hebrews 2:14

14 Forasmuch then as the children 

are partakers of flesh and blood, 

he also himself likewise took part of the same; 

that through death he might destroy him 

that had the power of death, 

that is, the devil;

Without JESUS, we can do nothing.

John 15:5

King James Version

5 I am the vine, 

ye are the branches: 

He that abideth in me, and I in him, 

the same bringeth forth much fruit: 

for without me ye can do nothing.

Through JESUS, we can do everything.

Matthew 19:26

King James Version

26 But Jesus beheld them, 

and said unto them, 

With men this is impossible; 

but with God all things are possible.

JESUS did so much more.

Much, of which we don't know about.

For the world could not contain it.

John 21:25

King James Version

25 And there are also many other things which Jesus did, 

the which, if they should be written every one, 

I suppose that even the world itself could not contain 

the books that should be written. 

Amen.

Now you see why I am not impressed with any form of power.

Whether of man.

Or of Satan.

I only believe in the LORD JESUS.

It's time to give GLORY to the ONE, TRUE GOD.
